Laura’s Swim Academy are looking for fully qualified & experienced swimming teacher’s to join our team! We are always on the look out for positive, reliable and friendly instructors who are passionate about teaching. Who have the knowledge, plenty of enthusiasm and an ability to teach professionally.

Not already qualified? We also have a leisure team membership apprenticeship available, where you not only become a fully qualified swim instructor. You’d also achieve a first aid, lifeguard and fitness instructor qualification. Learning on site whilst earning. The apprenticeship will include course work which you’d complete at home or onsite.

This highly rewarding job role involves motivating and encouraging a life saving skill to those of all ages as we teach from new born up to adult. Teaching group classes, small private groups or on a one to one basis.

If already qualified applicants should be able to break down all swimming skills into progressive practices & correcting all faults to ensure our swimmers learn efficiently and competently. Apprentices will initially only assist qualified instructor & learn everything there is to know about being a fantastic instructor, until eventually teaching your own lessons.

Candidates who are already qualified must hold the relevant qualifications needed including a water based first aid qualification & an up to date enhanced DBS check.
